Roaring Point Cleanup Coming Up!

Preventing plastics and other trash from polluting our local waterways and bodies of water further downstream is crucial. The Friends of the Nanticoke River will host our annual cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Roaring Point Park starting at 9:30 am.

Bags and gloves will be provided; please bring your own water and other supplies such as sunscreen and bug spray. Wicomico County will handle removal of the collected trash.

We are also planning to unveil the new interpretive signs that day!
