“I just want to say one word to you....Plastics”

At our last board meeting we discussed how we all might do more to help move the Friends of the Nanticoke members to be an example and spread the word on ways to cut down on plastic polution.


Dan Rodrick's Commentary in the Baltimore Sun is a good read on how we can all do our own little bit and be examples for others:


Don’t wait for the plastic bag ban.

Start living a less plastic life now.

Too many of us still use too much plastic and throw away too much of it. Too much of it ends up in a landfill or an incinerator or in a tree or the stomach of a marine mammal.
